Srange occurance

Grhndad Aug 08, 2009 03:16 PM

Last night I had an occurance happen that was a first of it's kind. I had the kids out for last outs. They were going from the corner of the yard to the far corner. Doing their share of barking at something. They finished everything and Ghost came up on to the deck. The three girls were down in the corner looking at something with an occasional bark. I called them and they ignored me. Called again and shortly after I called, I heard a bark behind me. It wasn't Ghost. It was the unique bark of Miss Lexie. Boy, did that startle me. I quickly looked around and only Ghost was there.

I have been visited by Miss Lola on several occasions but never so close as this to going to the bridge. It was startling both to me and Ghost. As I could see by the look on his face. Shortly there after the three girls came on up and in the house.

Aawwwwww...............The bond of love between you was so very strong ~ she knew that your heart was hurting and she wanted to let you know that she was ok. And that bond between you? That will keep her content until the two of you meet up again. Remember, she just spent the best 8 months of her life surrounded in love.

Adopting one greyhound will not change the world, but the world will change for that one greyhound.
