Bill's coming

deetu Aug 21, 2009 08:14 AM

And it looks like we are going to get even more rain.
What a rotten summer we've had.

So sorry about your summer. We have had an awful one too. No year has ever had temps and a drought like this one. Serious problems with foundations of homes, wildlife deaths, lakes dry, old trees dying, very sad.

I hope Bill will not do damage.

Sorry to hear about your drought conditions, Sally. That is so sad about the homes and wildlife deaths. I think the Northeast has been taking all the rain.

You still getting the rain too, Dee? We had more of it today but we did see some sun as well. Hopefully, we'll be able to put two or three nice days together soon. I continue to blame Katie for the rain and she still hasn't had her bath. LOL

Don't send Bill my way, Dee. We've had enough rain to last us until next summer. LOL

yep, wind then a downpour.

I was suppose to go out with a friend but after looking at the weather radar, it is going to get worse later tonight and don't want her to have to drive in it. She said she lost power already.

Husband has to go to work later tonight but he'll drive in anything.

They are warning that conditions are favorable for tornados. NJ never had tornados before but they are starting to appear here now. Last month a farmer lost his barn, silo and one cow. Poor cow...

That's terrible about the tornado and the farmer's barn, silo and cow, Dee. I think I mentioned the tornado we had recently that took out several houses in one town. I still think it was a small tornado that uprooted my neighbor, Carmella's tree.
