I'm new please help

Hello,

I started working at a boarding kennel where a 7 year old husky named Bear is being held. He was rescued from a very bad situation by the people who run the kennel and is currently being held there. He's free to a good home, but the kennel owners want to make sure he goes to a GOOD home. So until then, I've been playing with him and giving him somewhat of a life. I've grown so attached to him but I'm afraid I can't take him home since I'm not experienced with huskies and my parents won't allow me to have him.

What I'm wondering is, what are some of the huskies favorite bones/treats? I get paid today and would like to give my buddy something special!

Hi and welcome! You're doing a good thing by giving the Husky a chance at having a happy life. I hope the dog finds a good home to go to... it's to bad you can't have him for yourself.

As for your question I would first make sure that what you buy will be okay with the boarding kennel. If it is then any high end treat should be suffcient for your friend. A raw bone to chew on would be nice or even a can or two of skinless boneless salmon. Again be sure it's okay with the kennel and that other dogs aren't around to where it would cause a problem.

Hi I did make sure that anything I give to him is okay with the kennel. They said it's no problem and are okay with anything i decide to give to him as long as it's not toxic to him.

Other dogs shouldn't be a problem since he has his own kennel and we don't let the dogs out together EVER to avoid dog fights.

Thanks so much for the help!
