One of my tortoises shed a scale on the top of her head. The spot that it shed from looks clean,dry, and no sigh of any irradiation at all. I have just never seen this in any of my tortoises. Can anyone tell me if this is at all normal?????

I think that's very normal. My torts do the same.

Hey- I noticed the same thing in my male and female Indian Star today. It actually looked like my male was biting scales off his leg. Thanks. Brooks
