Sometime ago I met a doberman breeder in my area. I've done the research and am proud to announce that I put a deposit on a 4 week male. I should be receiving the pup once it reaches 8 weeks. Can someone point me to a good vet who is familiar with the breed. I am in the Los Angeles area, more specifically La Mirada. I am looking for a vet with lots of experience with ear cropping. any help is appreciated. room21rsg@yahoo.com

CONGRATULATIONS! Great Breed.
I have no vet names for you I live in Ohio and have no idea about any California vets. Maybe someone will read this post and help in your selection.
Also a very important note here. Dobes are BIG powerful dogs and I suggest you check out a trainer as soon as possible. Get one lined up and start as soon as dog is old enough.
A trained dog is a wonderful thing for life an untrained dog is just a pita for life. 
When you get the pup please post more and put pictures on the post.
