Thanks A lot

If the Doctor ask you to do more than likey the injections are supposed to be injected just under the skin. What I do is pinch the skin at the shoulders and inject it into the pinched skin. I have never had any bleading this way. Ask your Vet if which way the injection are suposed to be given.

I'm going to assume (which i prolly shouldn't) that the injection is supposed to be given right under the skin, but not into a muscle. I'm by no means an expert, but sometimes if you inject too deep, hit a vein, or go into the muscle some bleeding will occur. This is 99% ok, but I could be totally wrong. Definately give your vet a call. Altho, I don't think its anything to worry about. I'm surprised the vet didn't let you perform the injection with him instructing you while you were at the office.
Good luck tho!!!! Keep us posted!

Hi I emailed you on how to give him the shot. But for others to know... The shot MUST be givin into the muscle. When injecting the needle pinch and feel for the muscle.
*Most shots are givin in the back legs. (If you must give the shot more then once rotate the legs)
Once you located the muscle slowly inject the needle.
After the needle is in the reptile pull back 1/4CC if there is ANY blood pull out the needle and re-inject in the muscle.
The blood is from a vain. THIS IS IMPORTANT! IF THE MEDICINE GETS IN THE VAIN IT SENDS IT STRAIGHT TO THE HEART! REPTILES CAN NOT TAKE SHOTS WELL.
What you want to do is send the meds. through the muscle and slowly through the body.
Good Luck with your little friend!
