Hi All,

Long time no talk! Everything here is good. Brewster had a great summer filled with lots of walks, outdoor play, car rides, and time on the Cape. Bella's owner has been out of touch. Last e-mail I got was that she already found her a foster home and that she didn't think she was going to need her to be in the foster home for long. She's been out of touch since.

I'm posting to let you all know that there was a Shiba mix listed in my town's paper. It said she is timid but very friendly once she warms up to someone, and that she prefers to have a dog companion and had befriended a chow at the shelter. Anyway, it was Salem Animal Rescue League and I just checked their site and she's not on there, so hopefully she found a home. I thought it was unusual to see a Shiba that preferred a home with other dogs, and was thinking if anybody was looking to add to their pack, it might be a good match. Anyway, I think she found a home so I guess there isn't a point to my post now except to say "hello!"

HI Amanda... good to see you again! Nice to se that you and everyone are doing well. That's to bad that Bella's owner has been out of touch. We can only hope that she too is doing well. It's probably good the other dog isn't listed... it could be that she was adopted and I agree it's kind of odd to add to her listing about wanting dog companionship. Anyway stop by again when you can.

Hi, Amanda--

Post photos of Brewster's summer adventures! I still often think of that video of Bella pulling Brewster's leash so she could get the chips. . . I hope you hear from Bella's people soon.
