John is back at rehab, the doctors felt it was too soon for him to be at home, he was having issues that couldn't be handled in a home situation. My heart is broken and his spirits are deflated, we had hoped he could be treated as an out patient but it was just too soon.
Please continue praying for him, and me for strength I am very stressed and want what is best for him, I thought him being home would be a good thing, but I was wrong.

My prayers are still active for You and John until you say all is well.

Tell John he has friends he hasn't even met that are praying and hoping for a speedy recovery.

Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes.
Up until now I have been very strong, but it is getting harder and harder to stay positive, I just keep praying.
John is very depressed and angry and he actually seems worse now than before. I don't understand what he is going through and all the doctors can say is time will tell...I feel like I have lost him and I have put it in the hands of the Lord, and the doctors and I feel helpless to do anything for him. He is rejecting me now and that is so hard.

Oh Denice, continued prayers

Father, I ask that You help John work through the disappointments. I ask that You give him peace and help him to see that You did not cause this but that You can use it for good. I ask for quick healing, let the doctors be amazed.
Lord, I ask for wisdom for Denice, that she know what to say or how to react in different situations with John. I ask for strength for her. Jesus, let them know you are always with them and that miracles still happen.

Denice, when my Dad had the stroke, he went through all those emotions. This is a natural process of dealing with what has happened to him. Try to just be there for him. Even if he doesn't say anything or act like he is glad to see you. It will get better. It is so hard on us women to feel helpless like this! We are the ones who make things better, but sometimes we just can't and we have to let go. I know you are trying and you are a real trooper. We are all praying and believing this is going to work out for your good and God's glory. You haven't lost him, Denice, he is just in a different place right now. My Dad did the same thing.

Father in Heaven, I set myself in agreement with Denice and all those who are praying for John's miracle. You said if any two shall agree, it shall be done. So, Father, by your Word, we call it done. In Jesus name, AMEN!!

Oh Denice, don't blame yourself.

Sometimes we don't push the person to do more when they are home because we love them, where at rehab, they push more. And John will have a reason to push more to get home sooner.

Oh Father, I ask for continued healing for John... let it amaze the doctors and glorify you. I also ask for strength for both John and Denice during this time. Let the tension and stress fall off their shoulders. And Father, let them forgive the people who may have caused this problem and forgive themselves for any blame. In Jesus's name I pray.

Denice, this is not defeat, this is a blessing in disguise. John still needed more help and he will be in just the right place to get it. Hang in there, Lady, hold your head up high. You have God on your side and you are a strong person. John is a fighter. He wants to be home with you & the doggies, and he will, just a little later than you thought.
