Bee sting

dogwalker Sep 24, 2009 12:19 PM

I have a 14 week old Pharaoh hound. He was stung on his bottom lip Monday by a yellow jacket, no biggy gave some benedryl no after effect. Yesterday morning while out with my husband it seems it happened again and last night he swelled up so badly he looked like a Bull Terrier. Took him to the vet got a shot of benedryl then 25 mgs more 8hrs after. The swelling seems better but is not normal is there anything else I can do for him. He never stopped eating but did stop playing until this morning he was back to being a spaz monkey and eating. He has very loose stool that I assumed was due to the benedryl.

Thanks

Give him homeopathic Apis 30c, one pellet three times a day, until the swelling is down. If he gets stung again in the future, repeat the Apis.

Sorry it's been a few days. Senna is back to normal swelling gone and he seems normal for spaz monkey puppy. Thank you so much
