Does anyone know anything about this species? I have a book with a pic of a female and a male and I think they're both great looking chameleons, but I've NEVER seen any information about them, either in books or at shows or anything. Anyone have any good links to some of their info?

Also, any fruit fly experts in here? I need a good HOMEMADE recipe for their medium. Someone told me the one I'm going to be using will go moldy.

We worked with fruit flies in my biology class last summer, and just about every culture we made had at least a little bit of mold growing after a week or so. And we used a brand that was supposed to have a mold inhibitor. None of the flies had any problems. However, some people made their culture too runny and some flies drowned. I'm assuming you're using the stumpy winged flies that don't fly, so just try to make sure when you mix the stuff up it's nice and thick. If you're concerned about the mold harming the animals who eat the flies, I think some mold is going to grow regardless of an inhibitor being present. Good luck with the flies, they multiply ridiculously fast.
