My dog has had on going excessive ear wax in his right ear. I clean it every two days. Today when I cleaned it I poured the liquid in his ear. Massaged the base and cleaned it out. I wrapped my finger up and when I pulled it out there was some blood on it but I didn't see any visible wounds so I'm assuming it was down in his ear canal. I'm worried.
Could this be severe? Could he lose hearing? He didn't cry while I was cleaning it out. He actually really likes it. He taps his foot when I do it. But blood coming from the ear doesn't sound right.
I use R-7 Ear Cleaner for dogs & cats. Ingredients: Water, 35% Isopropyl Alcohol, Salicylic Acid, Oil of Eucalyptus, Polysorbate 60, FD&C Yellow #5, FD&C Red #40, FD&C Blue #1
If there is anything you can recommend or advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to everyone in advance.
