New chew

I bought Ayla a deer antler. It had the marrow showing because it is cut in half but the man assured me it was okay. Well, when I brought it home, she wasn't sure so I put a little peanut butter on it. Now she's chewing it all the time. That marrow gets soft when she is chewing it so I can't see it doing any harm like a cooked marrow bone would do. But it wasn't cheap. $8 for 1x4" piece.

Wow, Dee I've never heard of a deer antler bone for dogs. Glad Ayla likes it. Katie is still with her Greenie Bones.

Oh My Goodness, Dee. This is so funny! On another board I'm on a lady's father in law had killed an Elk and gave the antler to her two Shih Tzu! I had never heard of that before, and now you have a piece of one for Ayla! I think that is so funny! She showed hers chewing away at the pieces they cut for them.

Ayla loves hers. Have to get a picture and figure out what is wrong with my loading process from my camera to computer. Ugh!
Huh, they usually shoot deer and elk for the antlers so that is surprising that they give it to the dogs. Alot cheaper then mine too.

Whenever the horse shoer would come to the barn, the dogs that came with their owners would be waiting to grab the pieces of hoof that would be cut off. Most would puke it up later but they still loved it.
