Well, Dee how much snow did you get so far? If the rain we're getting AGAIN was snow, we would be buried. Right now, Katie's sitting next to me barking as if it's my fault that it's raining and she can't go for all the walks she's use to. The one nice day we had, I took a picture of her in the marigolds. I figured that I had better take it then or the next storm may be a blizzard. LOL

Last time I looked, it was about 2 1/2 inches of heavy stuff.

I was going to go to a church study and had a hard time getting out of my driveway. Then I got to the steep street I needed to go down and said, "No way" and turned around. Then proceeded to slide back down my driveway.

I broke some maple tree branches to give to the goats since I still didn't get hay. (didn't expect snow either) The trees still have leaves on them so they are bending and breaking. This is good because the goats will have leaves to eat.

Computer weather says it will be like this with rain and snow until Sunday, then it will go back into the 60's Wednesday.

My husband reminded me that we had snow last October too. This was the picture I took of that one.

Awwww, look at adorable Ayla wearing her pretty, pink sweater. I was cleaning out a shelf in a closet today and found Katie's winter outfits for the snow and frigid weather. She has more outfits to wear than I do. LOL I hope we have an easy winter and she doesn't need them.

Sometimes I think only a couple of inches of snow can be worse than four or five inches of snow, Dee. You can get a little better traction with a litte more snow. You were wise not to continue on to your church study. Glad you were able to get some food to the goats.

What a beautiful picture of the window! I wondered how you got everything to stay where you put it, and then it occurred to me... you must not have cats.

Snow in New Jersey is just too close to me for comfort. Everyone take care!

Thank you, Logan for your kind words. No, I don't have any cats now but know what you mean. I did have a cat years ago when Katie was a pup and they got along vry well together. The cat use to tease her all the time.

Oh my goodness, that picture says it all....just adorable! Years ago, I had a cat that just loved my beagle, Chipper. Thay planed together all the time. They even slept together at times.

What a cute picture! I just love pictures of dogs and cats snuggling together. If only people could be as non-judgmental, huh?

Skaket Oct 21, 2009 10:17 AM

You've got that right, Logan. This cat was a real tease. He would get under the couch and stick out his paw. When Chipper came to check it out, the cat would swat him with it but no claws. LOL
