Well, we finally got a nice, sunny day so I decided to rake up some leaves on the front lawn. Katie, of course, had to help by sitting on the bagged leaves and eventually taking a snooze on one of them. LOL Do any of your little ones help with the work that needs to be done around the house?

Vacuum, vacuum.....what's a vacuum? Oh, you mean that machine that you're supposed to roll around the carpet every now and then? LOL Katie just jumps up on the couch to get away from that thing.

Well, I did more raking today and she did the same thing, Dee. I decided to let her have that bag and I went and got another one. Normally, I would just rake the leaves up by the curb and the town would pick them up with a big vacuum truck but the town decided that they weren't going to have curb pickup this year and they have to be put in the paper leaf bags and they would be picked up on trash day. I decided that if I have to bag them anyway, I might was well put them in the plastic bags and take them and dump them at the town's recycling center. It's a lot easier doing that. I don't know what the folks, up the hill on the private road across the street from me are going to do. They must have a hundred trees from their private road down to the main road, They'll probably have to hire a private contractor.

Trudy just sits on the patio if I work outside. I have been too ill to do that in 6 months. I hope to garden again sometime soon.

Trudy is smart to sit on the patio, Sally. She stays out of trouble that way. Hope you'll be able to soon work again in the garden also, Sally. I think my garden work is over for now. All too soon, we'll be dealing with snow...YUCK!
