Questions about what goes out and what goes in...

Tigergenesis Oct 10, 2003 09:54 PM

Got a few q's for you Uro keepers out there. I'm still doing my research and planning for my future Uro purchase and was wondering:

~ What side of the tank do you put the food dish on (hot or cool)

~ Just so I know, what does a Uro's urine and feces look like? I have a Ball Python and was a little worried the first time I saw it's urine (urates) because I was a newbie. Thought I'd be prepared for what to expect with a Uro.

As always - Thanks!

i keep their food on the cool side it doesnt dry out quite as fast. they rarely urine since they do not take in alot of water, they will only excret extra moisture. their feces looks basically like a solid little log. with [bleep]e on one end. good luck and keep asking away!
