Shu Shu Shiba

Kiricki Nov 22, 2009 12:24 AM

While in the mall, this week, we stopped by the pet store to pet the puppies. I figure these little ones need all the loving they can get. There was an absolutely adorable little shiba boy, just as pretty as could be. His collar said "Shu Shu Shiba - Shiba Inu". I have no idea whether he actually was a bloodline shu shu or not. The thing is, he had only just a short stump of a tail. I asked the man there "What happened to this baby's tail?" He said he didn't know, he came to them like that, "but perhaps his mother had bitten it off or something". I held him for a bit and his bearing and attitude were SO shiba! It made me very sad to think of this sweet boy going through life without a curly tail. I hope he finds a loving home.

Poor little pup. . . I hope he finds a good home too.

Ugh... I hate that mills keep breeding shibas. Poor dog. I wish more people knew not to buy from pet stores.

I wondered if perhaps he really was a purebred and ended up in a petstore after/because he lost his tail? He really was a little beauty, and bless his little heart, he doesn't know he is missing one of his most important parts! I was hard to leave him there!
