New Beni update...

Shboom Dec 05, 2009 04:04 PM

2 weeks after his surgery to remove the plasmacytoma, Beni had the sutures removed and he has healed very nicely. In fact through it all he never missed a beat and never bothered the surgical area. Dr. Neary called the other day and said they got the report back from histopathology and the tumor was indeed a plasmacytoma... was benign and was completely excised. He is still pretty bald where he was shaved but has a nice layer of Shiba fuzz growing there! lol

This is all such great news, Bob! Benign is such a lovely word! And what a good boy to leave the surgical area alone. I've been waiting for you to post and am so happy and relieved that all is well.

Mom, it's good that Beni is all better!

I think we all realized how Beni is such a big part of "BENI gn"...He (like my Beni) is, and will always be, a survivor....Great news to carry us through the rest of 2009!

Sorry I missed all the excitement, Bob! I'm glad to hear Beni is doing well. I'm sorry to hear he had surgery!!! I will have to go catch up on the old posts to read why. Give him lots of scratches from us!
