8 inches

deetu Dec 06, 2009 10:17 PM

We had 8 inches of snow fall yesterday. Today it was cold so it was a little icy on roads.
Funny thing. I wanted to put some kind of wind shield up in front of the goat's door. The panel I was going to use fell apart so my husband helped me fix it and tie it up. Right when we were done, it started snowing. Worked great.

Oh, Dee please don't send the eight inches of snow my way. I'm not ready for it yet. LOL I need to break myself in with an inch or two. We did have a dusting but most of that melted although I did notice that the town must have put a salt/sand mixture on the roads because they were all white but a rain will take that away. I just finished getting my ceramic tree setup in the living room. Of course I had to add a string of lights to that. It just isn't bright enough with the lights built into the tree. I put a few small ornaments on it as well to make it look nicer during the day. I just have a few more things to do and then I can sit back and relax a bit.

Glad you were able to get the wind shield up for the goats. I'm sure it will help make their area more comfortable for them.

You usually get the weather from our way. Tonight 60 mile hour winds and lots of rain. Thursday about the same, but calling for mixed in snow flurries.

Hold on to Katie real tight when she goes out!!!

I always get nervous when they mention flurries. I've seen a foot of "flurries" fall. LOL They have snow/rain forecast for us for Wednesday. That usually means snow in the northwest hills of CT. I hope it means it this time.

Wow Dee and I thought Boston was bad with 4 inches.
We are expecting more tonight though.

Four inches is considered a dusting in New Englad, Denice unless it's the real heavy snow. They're predicting snow or rain for us tomorrow. I hope it's rain.

Well, now they're saying that we'll be getting rain or snow depending on the location but it will turn to all rain in the afternoon. I hope I'm in the rain location.
