Thanks for asking! She is doing great. It is weird to look at her and she looks so normal. Hard to remember she is blind in that eye! Just stinks knowing some day she will be blind completely. I am so happy she is back to normal. Eating, drinking, sitting by me, staring at me and growling when she wants attention. Thanks so much for messaging with me and making me feel a whole lot better about this situation. The people on this board are awesome! Oh, and she is such a great girl when getting her eye drops!
I'm so glad she is back to normal! Please don't spend a lot of time thinking about what may lie ahead, though. You will, of course, be reminded by having to use the eye drops, but let that just become routine. Keep up the drops and the check-ups and just enjoy your life with Abby.
Our Murphy was diagnosed with kidney problems at 7 months. He is on a restricted diet and has a yearly checkup. He's now
3 1/2 and is just as happy and healthy as can be. We've learned not to worry. We just make sure no one feeds him things he can't have and go on with our life.
Mom, my kidneys feel just fine to me. What are kidneys?

Murphy is adorable! And, he is lucky to have you!
Thanks. We think he's pretty special, and know we are all lucky that he's ours..........or we're his!
OK, Mom you got it right....was wondering there for a minute!

So glad to hear she's doing well.
Great news for Abby!! Sounds like another success story! Anne is right we can't keep wondering about the what if's... we just need to do for today. The eye drops will soon become routine but the absolute key will be to be diligent about them. To many people think it's not important or they forget. Beni has had thousands of drops in 3˝ years and has never missed one. It's become a part of my daily routine. Even during his recent surgery when he was gone I found myself glancing at the clock... getting up to apply the drops... looking in his spot and then remembering he wasn't there.

If there are no dogs in Heaven, then when I die I want to go where they went.
We have so many meds and supplements, I write it all on a calendar and mark them off. Part of the reason is Asher takes Pred one day and Cyclosporine the other days. Some things only in the morning, some at noon and some at night. It gets confusing. Also my husband feeds some meals and he can keep up with them too. And then we have Ginger's bladder meds......
