A question out of curiosity. I was speaking with my friend the other day who had just brought home his new pup, who has an overbite. I guess 2 other pups in the litter had gotten overbites as well and mom & dad had none. So he posed me this question. I told him I honestly didn't know because I had never had a dog/pup that had gotten an overbite.

He figured that it must be a fluke since the parents both had normal scissor bites, yet then how did 3 of a litter of 7 get overbites? Curious as to if anyone knows if overbites are or aren't hereditary so I could actually have an answer for him. Thanks!
