Lots of good news

shyshiba Jan 08, 2010 06:36 PM

Im all done with school!! (I have spent the last 16 months going to vet tech institute) I started my externship this week and it is great. Im working with a wonderful vet whos second love is teaching, so im very lucky. The other vet at the practice does relief work in west africa, so she is great as well. Although im not a certified vet tech yet, i really think i will love going to work everyday. In the past week, ive learned so much! the only negative i have is that i cried my face off the first two days because we had to euthanize two dogs. (both very old, very sick and in pain) i always thought it would make it a little easier if you truly know it is best for the the animal, but thats just not the case for me.
All my kids are still doing great Nickoli has found that he adores toys with the goose honk squeaker inside. So, him and Molly (my lab) are in constant battle over the toys. (theres actually no battle... molly just gives him whatever he wants)
Hope everyone is doing well! I have to catch up on recent posts since i haven't posted in awhile
