I was brushing my father's papillon's teeth last night and one of the back teeth fell out. The roots were a very dark color almost black. She is about 5 or 6 years old. Is this normal? Should I be worried? Thank you for your responses.

For the health of your dog should take him to your vet as soon as possible. There could be some underlying problem that caused the tooth to fall out.
