Lots of things going on this way lately so first chance I have really had to post. I took Beni to Cornell on Thursday and he had another good visit... for the most part anyway. On this day I was met by 2 students... one a 4 year and one a 3 year. It was the 3 year student that gave Beni his initial exam and you could tell he was nervous at best. He kind of struggled to get the tear test strips into Beni's eyes or at least to stay there anyway. Also during the stain test there was a little dot that showed up on the cornea of the good eye. When the doctor examined it he asked the student if he might have touched the cornea with the stain strip and he said he could of. I would have to agree as again he seemed very tentative. As a result and a precaution I have to stop the NeoPolyDex for a week and use an ointment in the eye. The pressure didn't read on the tonometer which usually indicates a reading of 5 which considering the valve isn't anything to worry about. So all in all it wasn't to bad... hope there aren't many more 3 year students on the horizon though!
