She is so good

deetu Feb 18, 2010 09:54 PM

Today I decided Ayla needed a bath and haircut. I pulled out the table, then started doing something else. She knew what that table was for but she was patient. I precut her then brought her upstairs and started the shower. As I was mixing warm water with her shampoo, I look to my left and there she is, waiting to get into the shower. What a good girl!

Ayla sure is a good girl, Dee. When Katie was a pup, she use to hide on me if I gave any indication that a bath was in the offing. She's due for a bath now but I'm going to wait a few days and hope more of this snow melts a bit. I did give her a trim today in hopes that I can give her the bath in the next few days. She's always been good for her trim for some reason.

Good girl, Ayla!

Are we the only two people left Mary Lou?
Where has everyone gone?

No, there are other folks around, Dee. Perhaps they're busy with other matters right now. I know that there is not much I have to say about Katie right now with frigid temps. and snow on the ground. Perhaps the spring will bring some folks out of the woodwork. LOL

How do you do that, Cheryl? LOL I thought about it but Katie told me that she couldn't do the shopping and many other things that need to be done. Now that a lot of our snow has melted a bit, they're predicting more for next week. I realize that advanced warnings are good for many reasons but now I have to worry about the snow that may never come. As Mark Twain said, "If you don't like New England weather, wait a minute." He certainly hit the nail on the head with that comment.
