Update on Tommy - my missing leo

xelda Oct 11, 2003 12:06 AM

He's back safe and sound! My mom found him while I was at work. Just a couple nights ago, he ate the food I left out for him, so what I did was put some stuff over his humid hide to make it look more hidey. That's where he was when she looked! I can't take any pictures right now because I dont want to stress him out, but it looks like he's glad to be home. It's a scary world out there for a baby leo.

Thank you! ^_^ He does have an interesting pattern. He's starting to develop more blue-purpleish tones (my favorite colors), so I'm really excited to see how he'll look when he's grown up.

My daughter has accidentally set a few of my leos free - all I can say is thank goodness they are not climbers! It's a relief that their route of escape is limited to the floor - The longest I've had a leo lost is probably 3 weeks or so - but I once lost 2 day geckos and 2 kingsnakes for about 4 months. Found the day geckos high on the wall hiding under a bathroom lighting fixture. Found one of the kings on my dresser (no clue how it got there) and the other outside while I mowing the lawn!!
That is such a neat looking little Leo. Please post more pics as it grows up.

Wow! To think that I was stressing out over losing just ONE gecko. I hope you find your missing leos soon.

He is a pretty interesting little guy. The first time I posted pictures of him, nobody could agree on what morph to call him. He seems to have more purple/blue tones after his first shed since I've had him, so I hope he keeps going in that direction. I love purple leos.
