Still waiting...

Skaket Feb 23, 2010 03:00 PM

Well, Katie is still waiting for her much needed bath. I think she must be saying special prayers for the weather we've been having lately. They have us down for mixed precipitation for the next several days. Guess they're not sure what it's going to be but it doesn't sound good. I almost too a ride off my front stoop today so I guess I had better go out through the garage from now on.

Today was a mess with sleet, rain and hail... now it's snowing like crazy! And they have to make snow in Vancover for the Olympics!

That sounds like what we had last night. Dee. I just got in from shoveling about four inches of glop off my driveway. That's the best word I can think of to describe it. I don't think that it's over yet but hopefully, it will be just rain from now on. We've had a crazy weather pattern this winter.

We have had some pretty crappy weather but it has warmed up a bit to where some of the snow is melting. The dogs paths are pretty much clear and are nothing but mud. It has been a winter I want to forget.

Send it to Vancover... they need it no us!

You know, Albany, NY is having a drought. We are getting their snow too I guess.

I'd be happy to send any snow heading my way to Albany or Vancover, Dee. They have snow or rain in our forecast for the next few days. Guess that they can't make up their minds. I sure hope it's rain. I never thought that I would hope for rain but I don't have to shovel that.

Well, I have to go wake up Katie and take her out for the last trip of the evening. Then, we can both head for bed.

It's been a crazy winter here too, Gary. We didn't get much real snow but a lot of mixed stuff. At least folks and especially kids can have some fun with the regular snow but the stuff we've been getting is good for nothing. LOL Oh well, I keep telling myself that spring isn't too far away. I hope!!!!!!!!!
