Sonny is on a roll

dndshihtzu Mar 14, 2010 05:44 PM

Hi all, hey what happened to that nice weather we had?
So I just got back from shows in Auburn, IN and Sonny won Winners Dog and Best of Breed on Sat, and Winners Dog and Best of Opposite Sunday. He has three wins now and is on a roll.
On a sad note Judge Richard Bauer passed away this weekend during his judging assignement at the show, he collapsed with a heart attack and they were unable to revive him, he was the reason I had selected these shows, a great judge. I was sad that I did not get to show to him one last time.

I'm not sure what nice weahter you're referring to, Denice. I haven't seen much nice weather here in CT lately. LOL I don't think I've seen the sun is over a week or more.

Congratulations to you and Sonny on your wins. Wow, it sure does sound like he's on a roll.

I'm sorry to hear about the death of the judge. That must have been a real shock for everyone.

He is SO pretty!!

Aw thanks Phyl and ML
The win was bitter sweet, I cannot believe Judge Bauer is gone.
Why is it that we start to see life as so much more fragile as we get older, at least I do and in talks with my friends it seems some of them do too.

Well, Denice I guess it's because most things get more fragile as they age.

Way to go Sonny!!!! Congratulations!!!

Wow, that is sad about your judge but on a good note, that was probably a way he would have wanted to go. Doing what he loved.

rofl
I remember my Dad coming to see my house as it was being built. He really just wanted to walk the property to see any deer signs. He was gone for a really, really long time and we were starting to worry about him. I said that I bet he came across a big buck with the biggest set of antlers he's ever seen and dropped. He finally came back, looking a little gray, wanting to go home. Never got that big buck...

Guess that he must have seen that big buck and it probably frightened him, Dee!

I've heard that saying also, Denice. Sometimes what you ask for doesn't turn out very well for you.
