No bath....

Skaket Mar 29, 2010 06:50 PM

Well, Katie is still waiting for her bath. It's still raining and they now have major flood warmings out for parts of the state. Fortunately, my area is not one of them yet but I have huge puddles on my garage floor where the water comes racing down the driveway like a raging river. I also have to carry Katie over a couple of huge puddles to get to the grassy area in the front of the house for her to take care of business. LOL To make matters worse, they're predicting more rain for the next couple of days.

At least you don't have to shovel it. Just think how much snow that would be. OMG !

Cheryl

That's what I kept telling myself, Cheryl but even that's not working anymore. It's still raining buckets! I had to put my winter boots on this morning to carry Katie out through the garage ...which had several inches of water in it, It was better than trying to jump over the "pond" I have at the entrance to my front door. I was afraid that I might slip and land in the puddle. LOL At least we're better off here than in the southern part of the state. They're running into major problems there with river flooding.

Mary Lou,

The sun has been shining all day and the temp is now 72. Hopefully, your rain will soon quite and you can enjoy some of our type weather.

Gee, I sure hope so, Gary. We didn't have a sunny day today but it didn't rain. They have partial sun in our forecast for the next few days. I'm not sure how much sun that involves but anything has got to be better than what we've been getting. Glad to hear that you had a sunny day and a temp. of 72.

So I guess you can't put paper down for her there anymore, huh?

No, the paper is still there, Dee. It's way at the end of the kitchen near the garage door but out of sight. They're saying that we're in for three sunny days. I sure hope that they're right. LOL
