Big day

Trudysmom Apr 20, 2010 04:30 PM

I was ill last night and today. Same thing.... CFS. Anyway, this morning, Trudy and I were asleep and she barked. The landscapers were here! A week early! Good and bad. I am sick so poor Fred had to come home from work. Trudy was barking at first and I can't handle any loud noise. She calmed down later.

He also needed to talk to the landscape designer. I can't walk much or talk, too stressful. He had two trellises I didn't like so Fred told him. He is now building one for me.

It was great to watch them take all of the stuff out that I didn't like. We moved to this new home last fall. I have been waiting to get this done. We did things before also. Had a crew take two palms out right away. Fred has been planting lots of flowers in front. I miss doing all of this, but it is nice to get it all to look the way I want it to.

Anyway, here is a picture of Fred with Trudy today. She took her barrette out so she looks like a sheepdog, ha. You can see lots of plants waiting to go in. The arch has new vines and there are vines behind it too. LOTS of new plants and flowers in now. All finished except for the trellis being built. He will bring that tomorrow.

I will add new pics. soon

Oh, Sally it's just beautiful. I'm sure that you and Fred will just love it.

Hope you're feeling better real soon.

Mary Lou, that is just after they tore everything out, before they put the plants in. I will take "after" pics soon. I am very happy it is finished. The landscaper comes to add a trellis he had made for me to fit behind the arch.

Sally, Fred & Trudy look really good I like Trudy's tussled look! HeeHee. Landscapers work very hard and very fast! I have a crew that only cuts my lawn and trims with a weed wacker. They drive up and are done and gone in 15 minutes flat! And I have a huge yard! I could never do the work myself. I am not a gardener like you, but I admire those who are
