Hi Dr Tobin I want to make a mixture of lavender oil with jojoba oil for the dog for it's calming properties. The bottle of Jojoba is 4 oz I wondered how many drop of lavender oil do you recommend I add to the Jojoba. I'm told if you overdo it with the lavender it will have the opposite effect.

Use equal amounts. However, you don't put the oil on the dog, but only use it in a spray bottle to put a light mist in the air. You can even dilute it in rubbing alcohol and use that as a mist. You only need enough to give a light scent, not saturate the room.
