omega 3 oil

kiko63 May 19, 2010 02:41 PM

Hi,
I would like to give my dog omega 3 oils to help with her allergies. She is on a grain free food and seems to have airborn allergies. Mostly this time of year. her skin seems dry and she itches alot. I read omegs 3 oils and fish oils are good but i was wondering if I can get the capsules at the store and squeeze out the oit into her food. She is about 25 pounds and how much a day would I need to give her?

Thanks
Joanne

Liquids are better than softgels, as she should get about 1 tsp per day. Keep the bottle in the refrigerator after opening it.
