I'm still here! The weather off and on nice. Finally got the tomato plants in and they are looking great.

Hot, humid and rain a lot. Both the dogs prefer the Air Con. Me to. LOL

Haven't had a garden for a few years but loved the fresh vegetables we got from it. Froze the green beans and they tasted so good during the winter. Our old dog Boomer would go out to the garden with us and we would tell him to get us an onion and he would dig up one for us. Of course we never let him try to eat it. He was such a good boy.

Our weather is the same. The dogs go out and do their business and are right back in. Like us they prefer the air conditioning.

Gary, you can send me some of your warm weather.....not in the 90's though. The mid 70's would be great. LOL

Gary,

I only put out tomato plants now. Just love them warm off the vine. No big gardens for us anymore just to much work. LOL

They are so great warm off the vine. Lick them put some salt on them and chow down with the juice running down your face. Nothing like it.

Gee, I never looked at it that way, Gary but you're right. I use to have a vegetable garden before I started to go to the Cape for the summer. There is nothing like fresh vegetables right from the garden.

Am I sending my rain to you, Cheryl or are you sending your rain to me? It sounds like we're both getting a lot of rain. We haven't had the hot and humid weather though so I guess I should be thankful about that. Heck, I'm still wearing a sweater and slacks. We had a couple of hot days a few weeks back and I put my bedroom air conditioner in and haven't used it since then. Now, that I said that, we'll probably be in the 90's. LOL Very often we go right into the summer weather with very little spring.

Hi Gary,
I'm still here. Glad to hear that Eloise is feeling some better and hope she will soon be all better.

I've been trying to get a few things done outside when it's NOT raining. When it's raining, I'm trying to get things caught up in the house. Katie, at age fourteen, is doing pretty well but her sight is very bad now and I find her just staring at the wall at times...so sad. I just pick her up and turn her around and she continues on her way. She's very good when being walked. I guess she has that routine down pretty well. Nothing wrong with her appetitie though. She always finishes her meals and let's me know if I'm late getting the food down.

Don't leave us now.

Just not feeling good. I think I figured out the problem. Disautonomia. Can't stand or walk well, this happens with CFS sometimes. I do HOURS of reasearch daily. I see my doctor next week. Had another Lithotripsy for more kidney stones. Lots of doctors and exrays. Loads of fun.

We are loving our new home. Fred does all of the work, I sit or lie down. Trudy is my angel, always close. We stay with my parents when Fred travels out of the country for work.

My mother came to town to stay with a friend and go to her h.school reunion. She came over this morning for a couple of hours. She then drove home.

I know my dad and thier poodle are happy with her home tonight! Thier little dog slept in the chair by the DOOR waiting for mom all night!

Here is Trudy and me at a nursery. We can only stay a few minutes, but at least I get to get out and see the place.

Hope you get to feeling better soon.

Doctors, doctors, test after test that is Eloise. I don't think there is any part of her body that has not been x-rayed, ct scanned or tested.

Mary Lou,

Eloise will never be cured as a result of her taking a drug called Reglan for about 3 years for acid reflux. She became very sick last Sept and was in the hospital for what was thought to be heart trouble and it was determined the culprit was this drug. The side effects are terrible and she will never be the same or will I from having to see her go through this crap.

Sorry to hear Katie's sight is failing. Boomer, Tutu and Amelia all went blind and it was difficult to watch. Boomer and Amelia seemed to handle it better than Tutu as she would get behind something and couldn't get out and we would have to help her. We never moved a chair or any of the furniture and for the most part they did fine getting around the house. In fact most of the time you would not know they were blind.

Katie seems to be handling her sight problem well also, Gary. She finds her food and water dish without any problems but will sometimes get confused if she takes a wrong turn in the living room and finds herself in back of the couch or a table. As I mentioned, when walking on the leash she does fine. I don't think a stranger would know that Katie's sligt was failing. Of course, she's been in this house for fourteen years so she has it down pretty pat. Right now she sleeping in her bed with her head hanging over the edge. She looks so uncomfortable but guess she isn't. LOL
