BIG TIME BRAGS!!!!!!

This past weekend we had a four day AKC coursing event to benefit a girl with Cerebral Palsy named Layla (http://www.volunteertv.com/home/headlines/97236334.html)

We had majors in Open all four days with some great competition! It was hot, but had GREAT provisions for keeping the dogs cool.

I only kept track of my guys, so the others can fill in if they want.

Friday: Uber 2nd place, Trey had fun didn't place, La-La BOB first major!

Sat: Lala 3rd, Atreyu 5th place, Uber BOB and his first major!

Sun: Atreyu 2nd place (????? this is the point fodder dog???), Uber had fun but didn't place, Lala BOB for her 2ND MAJOR!!!!!

Mon: Uber 3rd place, La-la 2nd place and Trey BOB (WHAT!!!!! Trey just got the major and FINALLY finished his AKC Field Champion???? I always said Hell would freeze over first!!! )

After completing their runs on Monday, Uber and Lala also got their Senior courser titles as well....WHOOO-HOOO!!!

So My gang and I have been banned from Tennessee now.... we came, we saw, we took everything home...

Thank you Laura Hughes-Williams of Desertpheonix Pharaohs, Andrea and Jim Hughes and Judy Rucker for giving me such a great dog that has been everything to me to include persistant!

You left out the part about thanking the judge for screwing up and giving Uber a second chance! Kinneson may turn a blind eye, but I'm on to you now!!!
It was a nice weekend for you and congrats on finishing the kids!!

Hey Meridith ... hop in your car and come back and get your puppy! She outlasted me tonight, so I had to climb the rail, go down the ramp, climb under the bushes where she was happily chewing on a milk carton top. She had been alone out in the yard for probably and hour and just plain didn't care. Little monster!!!

Meridith, we couldn't pay the judge to pull something like what he did. Thank goodness (for us) he thought Pharaohs run true each and every time...

For everyone else....Uber and Kinneson were in an all out awesome run and they get to the top of the hill and I see Uber decide to be a pharaoh and begin to creative course. Then all of a sudden the judge yells...Stop the Course!!!! None of us knows what happen...we get our dogs and question what happened. Judge said he saw a piece of the bag floating around and pink dog (Uber) got distracted. They ride up to get the "plastic" and it was a sun faded cone that was kicked up.

We re-run the course and well, Kinneson had it figured out and decided to beat the bunnies there... So Uber took breed...ahhh Pharaohs....

Well you must NOT have come far enough West in TN, it is still hot as h--- here! Congrats on the young kids but they are supposed to still follow. Huge congrats on Trey's FC - that is wonderful. He is such a good boy to do it in the heat and after all the running he's done, it was really great that he could force himself to follow for a whole day! They all get too wise, too quickly. Congrats to you, too, Bekki! Come back to the west side of TN since fun follows you.

WOW and it just keeps coming!!! I was just sitting here figuring the pups points from this weekend and realized I finished Lala too so now she is FC XO Ulala, SC!!!!

Hey, Bekki -- Once again, HUGE CONGRATS on your kick-butt weekend! What's this make now, state #2 that you have been banned from? (first CA, now TN) LOL

I know, it seemed like Trey was never gonna finish. But, so glad he finally got it together yesterday ))) I agree, he probably decided he was NOT gonna let LaLa beat him (heck, not only is she a whipper-snapper, but she's also a GIRL ).

Hugs to the kids, but also a HUGE hug to Trey. He deserves some fillet mignon for that! (you expecting any dinner company soon? )
