So we took Kiko to the vet. Of cource being a Shiba she was back in stoic mode. An other exam from tip of nose to tip of tail didnt reveal anything. However her anal sac was expelled once again and the vet was suprised by the volume that came out especially since she had them expelled on Sunday. So this could be an anal sac infection just presenting in a different way. We have her on antibiotics and metacam to see if it helps. Hopefully this cource of treatment will take care of what is wrong with her.

Okay... well the news could worse. Hopefully this it and the meds take care of it. Might be another reason to have them taken out. Keep in mind in spite of the risks involved there is always Cornell...the best of the rest. You could have your vet set up a consult with them over the phone and ask about the procedure. At the very least you would know a full surgical team would be attending and not just your vet and a tech or two.
