There are a number of things you can do for lymphoma. First, stop all carbohydrates. Feed meat, bone, cottage cheese and fish oil. There are a number of supplements you can use: argenine, IP-6, turmeric, Green tea extract, DHEA and alpha lipoic acid. High doses of vitamins A, D, C,E and K are also helpful. Some herbal extracts are also useful. such as soy isoflavones, bindweed extract, garlic, and the chinese herbal combination Xue fu zhu yu tang. It would be best to consult a holistic veterinarian for usage and dosages.
Dr. Tobin, I am curious what the role of DHEA would be in treating lymphoma?
My dad was on chemo and took IP6 religiously. He had Stage IV cancer, a surgery to remove the tumors and the mets, and has had no evidence of cancer for the past year. I'm BIG believer in the IP6.
In some, doxycyline, the antibiotic also seems to help. It's not holistic at all, but I thought I'd throw that out there!
