What if........

What if you only had these foods to choose from for your dog; Purina, Pedigree, Eukanuba, Iams? Which would you choose?
All of these have natural choices, and I was just curious as to what you all thought.
Remember when Kennel Ration was in stores or Gravy Train?

Gee, Phyl I don't really know. I forget what I strted her off on but she's been eating Nutro Ultra for a long time. She's now eating the Nutro Ultra Senior and has done very well on it.

Yes, I remember when the only place you could buy dog food was the grocery store. Now there are many places you can buy it and so many brands to choose from.

I would probably go with Purina. No particular reason. Yep, I also remember Little Friskies. A neighbor had a dog named Friskie and that was what they fed her. Back in the day, when I was a kid, you maybe didn't have a lot of money or all these exotic foods of today and you made do with what was available, even the terrible table scraps. Only the monied folks would buy commercial food from the grocery. Guess what? The animals still lived to ripe old ages.

Gary, when I had my beagle, Chipper many years ago there were no pet stores so you had to buy something that was in the grocery store. I forget what he ate but he lived to be almost seventeen.

Many did great, but Amber, my Cocker Spaniel had terrible allergies. Vets were clueless and just gave steriods. There were no good foods. Years later, I have Trudy on great foods and an allergy specialist. Her life is so much better.
