Here is my finished product. I had a problem with the roof breaking before leaving so I had to substitute lasagna noodles for the roof. Glued it on there and would have covered it with the right stuff but they were already judging and were nice to let me get as much finished as I did.

You did a super job, Dee. There is a lot of detail in that barn.

Yes, I won. There were only two of us in the catagory lol
Here is the second place winner. She didn't stick to the rules or I think she may have gotten first instead of me

Congratulations on your win, Dee! I think that you deserved to win. Your barn looks like a real barn but I think the other one is too "dressed" up if you know what I mean.

Ah, a round barn. We have a few of those around here. There is a joke about them. The old farmer had to go to the bathroom and drove himself crazy looking for a cormer to go in.

That is funny!!
Thing is, it was in a different county and was no longer standing so I think that was against the rule. And she also used some unedible stuff sooo....

Oh my goodness, Dee that's a beautiful old barn. It looks like it's very well maintained.

Yes, it's the original barn that was part of my property which is about a mile away. They unfortunately don't keep animals in it any more. I know the person who bought it with the subdivision wanted to buy another parcel to make it 6 acres but the people who bought it wouldn't sell. They had problems with waterways and sold the house after being in it for about a year.
I wish I had a barn so beautiful here. I was looking at it going "oh, the goats would do so good here"

I guess many of the big farms are disappearing. Things are done differently today and the property becomes more valuable with houses on it. I know that's true even here in CT. There are no where near the number of farms that were here years ago.
