nile Aug 16, 2010 09:49 PM

Could somebody please post PH results from the Hollister trial on the new field?

Those of us not on Facebook would love to hear the news.

Sam:
The new field was a big hit. It's the end product of Hollister's state of the art water treatment facility...45 acres of lush grass, all fenced...top field could accomadate a 1500 yard course and the lower level 3000 yards if you wanted to really tire out some sighthounds. Best grounds I've seen in California and many parts beyond. This was the first public function ever held at the new field.
Our normal 35 dog trial grew to almost 70 dogs each day.
The PHFNC trial on Sat. had 6 PH's running. Open, Don Delmore's Jack (new ASFA Fch). In Fch, NBQ Apollo, 4th Zoey, 3rd Kanloo, 2nd Evan Witt & 1st & BOB Wyatt Witt after a close course with Jack.
On Sunday 4 Fch's running with Wyatt BOB, Evan 2nd, Apollo 3rd & Zoey 4th. I believe all the placments mentioned are correct. If not, write it off to my ever fleeting memory.
On Saturday October 2nd, the Pharaoh Fanciers of Northern CA will host the ASFA Region 2 Invitational at the new field. We're planning on a course plan that will use both the upper and lower field, so the dogs can experience a nice elevation change during their runs. Come on out!

Always owned by Nubie & Flashdog, (looking down from above with lil' Miss Scarlett), Tari, Wingnut, the Tipster, Evan Elpus, brother Wyatt Witt and the new kid on the block, until we find him the perfect show home, ...Dylan...oh heck, he just might be stayin' around!

Thanks Greg. Congrats to Mr Wyatt!!! Sounds like a superb place to run dogs.I bet everyone had a great time. I miss coursing up there. Seems strange to not be on the lookout for awards for MBCA any more.

I'll keep Oct 2 in mind but now it's a day and a half drive at least for me and I'm planning on coursing in New Mexico over Halloween so maybe, maybe not. Have to recover from the moving expenses and a few other unexpected things I had to spend my fun money on.

Going to Chino to run this coming weekend - first chance we've had since March. DFB puts on three or four trials a year at a pretty good field about an hour away but summer is way too hot here to run. The field is at a cowboy polo ranch.

The dogs love Arizona - lots and lots of wildlife to bark at, chase, catch, drag into the house and leave for me to admire. They brought in a huge lizard last week - it got away from them and ran under the bed. Had a heck of a time catching it. The dogs were so much help I had to crate them so I could rescue it.
