Ram's kids are not only some striking examples of the breed, but also some of the sweetest PH's I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. The one litter I'm most familiar with are all blessed with fantastic temperments (couldn't have come from Melody )
However after chasing Ethan around the coursing field this summer & after numerous jogs with Evan over the years, I wish some of Ram's genetic markers had been left behind!

I have to comment on the Ethan statement. Ethan is one of the most amazing coursing PH's I've ever seen his body movement is spectacular to wath he can cover ground with so little effort it is a pleasure to watch him run. Now about AFTER the course, I have the pleasure of releasing Ethan more times than not and at the last trial someone said "so how do you catch Ethan?". After I stopped laughing I said "you DON'T catch Ethan". I guess you found that out too Greg on your last visit. I will say I really don't mind chasing him because I love my baby daddy

Slipping and retrieving (?) Ethan reminded me so much of his brother Evan. Evan has never had a course plan long enough to his liking. He will course the line until he's had enough. After some period of time, he'll then lay on his back with a big smile on his face and let me slip his lead on him.
I don't think it's such a coincidence that in our region Pharaohs are usually the last breed scheduled to run!
Congrats on your handsome boy Senna's conformation CH. "Camp Stacy" must have done a world of good!

Seems Ethan and Evan are brothers in crime that is E to a T the sweetest happiest boy that can't get enough of running. Thanks about Senna he is changing daily some good some areas still need improvment but yes Camp Stacy did him WONDERS!!! he came back a more mature well balanced boy...if that is possible at his age.

Now that's impressive! What a legacy Ramsan leaves! Thank you for posting Dominic, I had no idea he had so many US champion get! And most are thanks to you, I think. So now I can put ROM, ROMX or ROME after his name?

It was a really fun period in my life, when you had Ramsan, I will always cherish it, and all the fantastic trips over, to the many Specialties and Westminster. And I will never regret sending him over to you, though I lost sharing three of his years with him. He did have a great impact on the breed in USA. His legacy is so visible in many of the dogs pictured in just the last National. I see a lot of him in many many of them, and theres a lot of great points he passed on, besides his TYPE and very special style. It is a comfort now that he is gone, to know that he will live on forever in so many pedigrees, and stand behind so many gorgeous dogs. I'm proud to have bred a dog like him (in my first litter, at 21 years old!)and it was fun sharing him, with you and the world, to get the recognition he deserved. I hope I will get one just like him, again sometime. (but I have a young grandson who is not far off!) And you have at least two, not fair! Bek and Sirus looks so much like Ramsan, especially now when they are a bit older.
