on where you buy. You can save quite a chunk of change by buying light fixtures from Home Depot/Lowe's. Also buying spot bulbs or using household bulbs instead of reptile spot bulbs (waste of money in my opinion).
If you have any herp shows in your area, you can get tanks for $1.00 a gallon or build your own.
Estimate: $200.00-$300.00

I was thinking of staining then putting polyurathane on plywood to build a 4'long 18" high 18" wide cage with mesh top and sliding front.How much in your opinion would it cost me?

I built a 5'x2'x2' enclosure this summer, cost me about $150 total.

Should be $50 to $100 depending on prices in your area.....I build a double tank 8' x 18" by 20" for about 150.....
