Last week, as we sat down to watch Hachi, a lovely Betty White special came on. Hachi's time was changed to Sunday. Due to plans I had to record it. I thought about watching it during the work week, but decided not to, thank goodness. We finally saw it last night, and my eyes have yet to return to normal. Having tissues nearby is not enough, I needed at least a box of them. I missed so much during the first showing I had to watch it again, but it was too emotional to get through, so I stopped right before the fateful day. Beni and Kari weren't sure what was going on, but they sure got a lot of extra hugs, kisses, and belly rubs.

Hope to hear from you all soon, and we hope everyone is having a spooktacular weekend!

It's a very good movie and has been added to my list of favorite dog movies, tv series or books. Hope you get to see the rest of the movie.

We really thought this was a wonderful movie. Marley and Me was also a very good one, but the book was better. The film ended sadly, but there was more to the story, which the book went into and left one with a better feeling. It wouldn't have taken much time at all, to have added that part to the movie, which was also a true story, as was Hachi.

Since I can't read (yet, anyway), I just have to stick to the movies.........

I read Marley and Me to my 5th grade class 2 years ago. I teach in a school with kids that have been through, and are going through, some pretty tough times...even at their young age. Mine wasn't the only wet eye as I read though the chapters, though. Our pets have such a powerful influence in our lives. They bring out kindness, patience, and understanding in ourselves, and teach us how to appreciate our fellow living beings.

Hope to hear from you soon...
