Hello to all

dndshihtzu Oct 26, 2010 10:28 PM

Hi Everyone:

I am so sorry that I don't visit more often, life is so different for me now.
ML I hope you are doing ok, I think of you often and I hope you are doing well. It must be lonely without Katie.
Phyl I am so sorry to hear of Max's passing. Just glad you have Nicky and I hope that comforts you some.
Gary sorry to hear that you are having seizures with both dogs, you and Eloise have your hands full for sure. Saying prayers for you all.
Sally, sorry to hear your condition has worsened. I hope the docs find some relief for you.
It is just me and Pandie (Nicky's mom) we live in a small apartment and I work in an office, and do some accounting on the side as well.
I think of you all often and I am going to try and come visit more often.

Love

Hi Denice
It's always good to hear from you. I still miss Katie so much but its gettng a little easier. They say that tme heals all wounds and that's true to a certain degree but I will never forget her. I zm so thankful to have had her for fourteen wonderful years but it's never long enough.

Glad to hear that you're settled in an apartment with Pandie and working. Don't be a stranger now....stop in and see us often.

Always good to hear from you, Denice. I am so glad you have Pandie. Nicky said to say "Hi" to his Mom
It feels kind of strange to just have one dog, doesn't it? I still can't take up Max's bed from the kitchen. I know I will eventually but just not now...
Please come on again soon
Hugs,
Phyl

Hi Denise ((hug))
Been thinking about you and wondering how you have been.
Ayla is doing great. Ended up being 14 pounds...so much for 6 pounds and being carried in a bag which gets heavy after a while.
Are you showing any dogs now?

No Dee, I am not showing anymore, I had to totally change my life. I live in an apartment now, and I only have Pandie.
Sometimes I miss it very much, but after having to place all of my dogs I don't know if I would ever be happy showing again.
One of the dogs I bred Maxie that went to Paris to live with Josette has been doing very well though, he is a French Champion and well on his way to other European Championships, as Josette sends pictures I will share, but that is really my only connection to the show world.

That must have been quite an adjustment for you, Denice to give up showing but I'm sure it's a lot of work also.

That's quite an honor for you to have bred a French Champion and possibly a European Champion.

Denice, I am sure you miss doing that, but there is probably something else for your life now.
Congrats to Maxie; that is pretty cool.
Big Hugs,

HI Denice! Nice to hear from you. I'm sure Pandie is great company. These little guys are so friendly and cuddly. Our monsters will be 10 the 26th of December and it doesn't seem possible. At the present time they are doing pretty good. For some reason Tootles has found her appetite and eating like she never has. Becker is on phenobarb for his siezures and the Vet has added Gabapentin to supplement that. Strange Eloise, me and Becker are all on the Gabapentin. Becker for his siezures, me for my siezures I started having after my pacemker implant and for Eloise I am not sure what it is supposed to be for. She is on so many. Don't be a stranger and come back and visit often.

Wow, Gary, it seems the older we get the more medicin we need to keep going!

dndshihtzu Nov 05, 2010 09:07 AM

Oh my goodness Gary, is the dosage very different?
It was very odd to me that one of the dogs I was caring for was on thyroid meds and they were nearly the same dosage as mine, same drug, and the dog's prescription was $10 for 250 pills and mine was $30 for 30 pills, I asked my pharmacist about it and sure enough there was no difference just a higher mark up for humans........isn't that terrible.

Well I hope you guys get a break for a bit, yopu deserve it.
