I'm back!!

Sabbatia Nov 09, 2010 11:29 AM

The last 18 months or so have been a time of change, but I've made it through it. Got a divorce....even without kids it took over a yr...somebody had to be a jerk about it. My niece moved in with me and is going to college. It's been fun having young people around the house. The house was mine, so nobody except the ex got uprooted.

Bob, I'm sorry for your loss. I know how much you love your dogs and I know this has been really hard for you.

It was time for my old dog Digger to go a year ago. The way it all went down was bad...and part of the reason there was no chance at reconciliation with the ex. The last few months that he was alive, Robyn (my niece) and I had to pick him up and walk him outside to go to the bathroom....then he got sick, and we had to let him go.

Jia and Odie are both doing great! Jia has gotten grouchier the last yr or so, but she's still a lot of fun. She bit my sister the other day, but she was laying beside the bed and Terry stepped off the bed onto her....not once but twice. The first time she growled, the second she snapped.....she didn't hurt Terry, but if she did it a third time she probably would have. Can't really blame her for not wanted to be awakened by a big foot stepping on her. Odie is still the passive love bug!!

Hope all is well with everyone else. I haven't read back too far but will catch up later!

Ya'll have a great day!!

Sherry

Hi Sherry and welcome back! Sounds like the last year and a half have been eventful for you. Thanks for the condolences on Keiko and I'll add my own back to you for Digger. It's good to see Jia and Odie back here again!

Sherry, it's good to have you back! I've thought several times about emailing you, but you know how that goes sometimes. Sorry about Digger. Good to hear that Jia and Odie are doing well. Also sorry (or maybe I shouldn't be?) about the divorce. Anyway, I've missed you and I'm glad you are back!

Sherry & Jia and Odie are back? WaHoo!
