I've noticed fewer posts recently and was wondering if there is a group active on Facebook. Anybody recommend one?

I believe you will find quite a few people on FB. I don't use it myself and I cannot recommend it but I think it's attracting people away from DH.

I'm sure you will get an answer from someone in the PH world who can direct you.

I'm glad to hear you will still be posting on DH. I am afraid FB has already taken quite a few people. It's a different kind of site and may have more options to offer.

Hi Sam!

I can only speak for myself, I don't have the bandwidth any longer to maintain all the activities I have in the past. Many of "my things" have had to be dropped; working full time, school part time, caring for my wonderful gramma, doing what I need to keep my doggies content... well, not much time left. Facebook is easy for me to do on my phone, DH is not. I'm sorry for not maintaining here but by taking the proper precautions with FB and not partaking in it's additional entertainment it is perfectly safe (I work in the IT world, I am educated in these areas).

I do miss keeping up with those of you who are not on FB!! I've been trying to come out here when I have something that I know those of you would want to know. I'll try to remember to check more often, but it will depend on all that is going on.

Hi Tabitha - Nice to hear from you. I'm sure life and economics have affected DH for many users. I know the precautions are probably fairly good but I'm just not one to take this level of risk. Especially when I hear about said risks on national news and have validation from a friend who is in the same business you are. Knowledge is power.

I'm pretty isolated (my choice) from shows and coursing with this move and DH was my link to the PH world. I am just sad to see that world shrinking, for whatever reason. I enjoyed keeping up with what's going on the PH world.

Take time out from all the busy...I hope you are still able to get out and run your dogs now and then.

Hi Don!

I must admit that I have spent a good bit of my leisure time farming on FarmVille in Facebook for the past year or so and have spent less time on Hobbyist. Plus there are a lot of pharaoh folks from all over the world who are FB friends so I have gotten my dog fix there. I have missed my Hobbyist friends so I popped in here today to see what was going on. I will try to visit more frequently in the future
