Ruth, you are very kind. Indeed, the calendar is many, many hours of work including keeping track of editing over 100 photos, the voting, the calendar and the cover page collage. But, I was glad to do it because it was fun seeing all those great photos, making many of my PH buddies happy, and earning a little money for PHCA.
Last year was different, however. Too many ugly complaints, too much ballot stuffing, and way fewer calendars sold. So, I'm done for a while.
I checked CafePress and they don't allow folks to do individual calendars. But there are many places that do, such as KodakGallery and others.
For those who have been nothing but kind, I'm sorry!!

Thanks for doing it for so long!
And for those that want to make their own calendar, we have had good luck with Shutterfly.

I'm verysorry to hear about the complaints and ballot stuffing. It's a loss for all of us. I guess no good deed goes unpunished, after all. Thanks you for all the past calendars, I have saved every one.

I agree with you Sam. People never cease to amaze me. Thank you Carmen for all of your work. I have enjoyed all of mine over the past few years. I hope in a year or so you will reconsider. Maybe some people will grow up by then.

Sorry you've had to deal with that. Thank you for all the work you have put into it in past years.
BTW - In dog training we always strive to reward desired behavior and not reward undesired behavior. I'd say in light if last year that not doing a calendar this year makes a lot of sense.

For the past 2years I decided that if I was going to look at PH's all year I'd rather them be my own
no offence to all that grace the PHCA calendar or to Carmen but it's more fun for me personally to see my own boys. If you use Shutterfly you can make a calendar for 19 dollars with your own photos, for all you photo snapping fools like myself

No offense, at all! Actually, I must confess I've done the same.
I'm a great fan of Pharaoh Hounds but I adore mine, so those are the happy faces I want to see on my calendar! It really is easy. Even if you don't have photo editing skills, many of the places will scale the photos to fit as well as possible.

glad I did not offend Carmen I would not have wanted to "try" and please everyone
you have done a great job in the past thank you so much. You were actually my inspiration for attempting my own calendars and it is very easy I have had a blast doing them!!!

Hi,
Hope I'm not too late to thank Carmen, too, for all the fun of the calendars in the past years. Our Junior made it into two of them and it was so much fun just waiting until April or October to see him on his page. We've given them for gifts in the past, and we have friends asking for their PH calendar! Great advertising for the beauty of all our guys.
Sorry you had some ungrateful responses, but we truly loved the experience and thank you. Happy Holidays,
Roseann, Junior and Family
Dear Carmen,
Your efforts have been nothing shy of heroic and selfless when it came to putting together the pharaoh hound calendars each year. When I read that you had experienced negative feedback and ballot stuffing this past year, it blew my mind--unbelievable, and gross. WTF!?!?!?!??!?!?? That is really discouraging to hear, and please know that Margie and I have always been nothing other than impressed with and appreciative of your work.
Hoping that you have a magnificent holiday season, Carmen!!
Best wishes,
Rebecca and Margie
Thanks everyone for the kind words! Truly, it was annoying but it's not like I suffered, or anything. I just wanted to explain to folks why I chose to skip this year; didn't want you thinking I was being lazy!
