At their meeting, Monday, December 6th, the Los Angeles City Council Public Safety Committee will consider a proposal to increase the pet limits in the city from 3 dogs per property to 5 dogs per property. If the measure passes the committee, it will likely proceed to the full council very quickly, so residents are encouraged to contact all city council members and ask them to vote in favor of this ordinance.

Although AKC opposes limit laws, we believe that this proposal is a step in the right direction and we encourage residents to express their support to the members of the city council.
