The Santa Clara County Animal Advisory Commission will discuss a possible mandatory spay/neuter ordinance for all “pit bull” dogs at their meeting on Thursday, January 13th. Concerned dog owners are encouraged to attend and state their opposition to this measure.
This item is being discussed at the request of the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors. An ordinance has not yet been drafted, so this is a very important step in the process and an ideal time for responsible owners to become involved in the lawmaking process.
