Well I guess I have a good reason to brag on here now. My Princess Peaches finished 2010 as the ASFA #1 PH. She is amazing!!
I do want to share a little about our year and Peaches herself. I adopted Peaches when she was 2 years old from Marie Henke. She was not in the greatest PH home and needed to be with someone that "understood" them. My Kinneson was quite happy to have his sister move in with us.
Since then she has been a handful and an unbelievable joy to have. Our year started out with a bang down in Georgia at the winter challenge where she won 2 out of 3 days and came in second for best in event. Since then she has been a truly amazing companion! Peaches has done everything I could ever ask of her and much more.
She helped me raise a handicapped bulldog. From 6 days old, Peaches treated her as her own puppy. A month later a whippet puppy arrived and she made sure he stayed in his place. 3 months later another PH puppy came home and she kept on mothering all of them! In between puppies Peaches won another BIF, BOB at the II, and continued running like nobody's business! Through torn pads, sliced foot, ripped toenails, strained muscles, and who knows what else she kept running. She never gives up and can't wait to chase those bunnies, like so many of our kids!!
In the end she will always be my princess that sleeps next to my head on her pink princess pillow, but how nice to be able to say each night "Good Night My #1 Dog!"
So thanks to Marie for trusting me with such a special girl and boy did Jan and Dinja give us a run for our money!!! They are amazing!
