OHIO UPDATE: Hearing to Repeal BSL Likely To Be Held in Mid-February

The AKC has learned that the Ohio House Criminal Justice Committee hearing on House Bill 14 scheduled for Wednesday, February 2 at 9:00 a.m., is only for sponsor testimony. A second hearing will be scheduled soon that will allow for public comment.
Due to inclement weather, it is asked that those who support this bill wait to attend the proponent’s hearing where there will be an opportunity to speak, and not attend tomorrow where only the sponsors will be permitted to speak on their bills. The AKC will provide information on this hearing as soon as it becomes available.
