I live in Georgia. Its a beautiful state here but we have some crazy snake laws here you can own a native venomous snake with a permit but you can't have a native non venomous one. Which is really bad cuz I have always wanted some captive bred eastern kingsnakes, outer banks, and corn snakes. The designer snow and the reversed stripes are similiar. The only difference between my male is that the desinger snow male has 2 stripes and the reversed stripe female has one. Both of them have a label thats says desinger cali kings on the deli cup they came in. They are both unrelated though.

i know a guy who keeps snakes and is also a cop with a bunch of fish & game friends, he says if you have something your not supposed
to have --just don't tell em' ---and that they are not really worried about a little guy with a snake anyway - some folks will say
different ---------but that's what i was told and you know ---
i say _____ the man anyway!
ha ha ha ha i would not sweat it! , just be smart and cool about it, label the cage wrong , don't show it to the fuzz or loud mouths.
you'll be cool-
peace and chicken grease!

I had read somewhere on this forum where a guy was passing through Ga going home to Florida and he was coming back from the south carolina reptile show. Anways a cop stopped him saw what he had had called the dnr. You can pass through the state if you by a native snake to Ga from a reptile show. The dnr and the cop did not belive them. They kept the poor guy for an hour.
the dnr officer called his boss and asked him he told him that you can do that. Georgia has some messed up laws.
Know of any good ways or tips I could get the laws changed.
